Is there any discomfort involved?
The treatment itself is usually tolerated very well, as the needle used for the injections is very fine. You may feel a slight pinch when the needle is injected, however, this should not be uncomfortable or unbearable at all.
Will I bruise?
There is always the risk of bruising when performing any kind of injections on the face as it is very vascular.
What do I need to avoid after my treatment?
Post treatment, it is recommended that you avoid the following:
- Laying down for 4-6 hours post treatment.
- Avoid excess heat in the skin e.g. saunas, excessive exercise or sweating.
- Avoid wearing anything tight over the treated area for 6 hours e.g. hats, goggles, glasses, swimming caps or helmets.
