Ultherapy
Ultherapy | 30mins+ | $750+ |
Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure used to lift and tighten the skin on the face, neck and decolletage to achieve a fresher and more youthful appearance. Treatments deliver focused ultrasound energy to the same foundational layer typically addressed by surgeons during cosmetic surgery, without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin. This energy initiates the body’s natural response to strengthen weak collagen and stimulate the growth of new collagen. The real results appear over 2-3 months as new collagen builds, gradually lifting and tightening the skin on the face and neck and smoothing skin on the chest. |
Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared, gold standard treatment for non-surgical lifting and skin tightening on the neck, chin and brow. Treatments can also be used to improve lines and wrinkles on the upper chest.
Ultherapy FAQs
Can Ultherapy replace a facelift?
Ultherapy treats the foundational layer addressed in cosmetic surgery, however, it won’t duplicate the results of a surgical facelift. Ultherapy is a great alternative for those who are not ready for surgery. It can also be used to maintain surgical facelift results.
How long do the results last?
As the treatment is dependent on the patient’s own collagen production and natural ageing process, the results will vary from person to person. Results can usually be seen after two to three months, and can last up to 12-18 months.
What does an Ultherapy treatment feel like?
As the ultrasound energy is delivered into the skin, you may feel tiny amounts of energy being deposited to precise depths, stimulating the collagen building process. Comfort levels vary from person to person, but the sensation only lasts while the ultrasound energy is being delivered.
Will I need to take time off?
With Ultherapy, there is no downtime. After your treatment, you can resume your normal activities immediately, without having to follow any post-treatment measures.
How many treatments are required?
The majority of patients only need one treatment; however, some may benefit from more than one treatment, depending on how much skin laxity they have and their body’s own biological response to the ultrasound and the collagen-building process. Follow up Ultherapy treatments every 12-18 months year may help to maintain results.
